The Campaign met with Ruth Cadbury MP, Chair of the Transport Select Committee in Parliament. We discussed how the Campaign to Electrify Britain’s Railway can help to turn the committee’s findings of their inquiry into Rail investment pipelines: Ending Boom and Bust into action and get rail electrification moving. There are no silver bullets: reform of Treasury, embedding investment pipelines in GBR and the track-and-train strategy.
